The Newfoundland Growlers opened their 2022 Kelly Cup Playoffs with a 7-4 victory over the Trois-Rivières Lions Friday night at the Mary Brown’s Centre.
The Growlers top line of Zach O’Brien, Tyler Boland and Orrin Centazzo combined for eight points on the night, while Keith Petruzelli made 35 saves in his first playoff start for the Growlers.
Game 2 goes tonight at 7:00 p.m.
