Trades NL has announced $10,000 in scholarships to a group of dependents of building trade members looking to continue their post-secondary education.
Executive Director Darin King says the annual scholarship shows the generosity of building trades unions in an effort to help the next generation pursue an education and career.
He says they’re excited to see the future success of recipients.
Over the past four years, Trades NL has awarded 35 scholarships to dependents of skilled trades members.
