Expect some added activity in and around 5 Wing Goose Bay in the coming week.

The 413 Transport and Rescue Squadron will conduct search and rescue training in the vicinity of the 5 Wing Practice Target Area today through to Wednesday.

The training will involve a Hercules airplane and a Griffon helicopter.

Residents might notice the Hercules flying low in search patterns, with SAR techs and equipment being parachuted from the plane.
