RCMP are investigating after a car sideswiped an oncoming transport truck on the TCH near Grand Falls-Windsor.
Police were first called to the scene around 11:00 last Friday night after a car crossed the centre line and sideswiped the oncoming transport truck. The 21-year-old woman who was driving the vehicle showed signs of alcohol impairment and was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the transport truck was uninjured.
A blood sample was taken from the woman for analysis.
