A man in London is making a special public plea on his 50th Wedding anniversary.

Douglas Knight called VOCM in the early morning hours, seeking wedding pictures from his nuptials held in Corner Brook 50 years ago.

Knight indicates that he and his Newfoundland wife made the arrangements to marry so hastily, that they forgot to book a photographer and the couple has no pictures from their special day.

Knight was hoping to surprise his wife for their anniversary with some pictures from their wedding at Humber United Church or their subsequent reception on board the Bowater ship The Nicholas.

He’s hoping anyone who snapped pictures of the event can forward them to VOCM who will then forward them to him. Anyone wishing to submit photos can do so by emailing feedback@vocm.com.
