One of the most anticipated reunions in Newfoundland music history is happening tonight on stage at the Iceberg Alley Performance Tent.

Bucket Truck was formed in St. John’s back in 1996, generating huge buzz and ardent fans, but the band dissolved ten years later when the members moved on to other things.

Matt Wells, Jud Haynes, Mike Rowe, Chris Hanley, Mike Rizkalla and Mike Stewart are hitting the stage tonight.

Wells, who has since developed an acting career, says playing with Bucket Truck was an exciting time and when it came to an end, there was some real sadness.

He admits, if someone was to tell him two months ago that they’d be playing together again, he wouldn’t believe them.

Mike Stewart is coming back from Sweden for the reunion. Stewart says while Sweden is a great place, he’s excited to be back home and playing in front of a local audience.
