A 73-year-old man is in hospital following an incident near the Sobey’s on Topsail Road last evening.

Police and other emergency responders rushed to the scene just before 8:00 p.m.

It is not clear if anyone else was involved in the incident and police say at this time, there does not appear to be any risk to the public.

RNC are asking anyone with information to contact them as the investigation continues.
