The provincial government has announced $141,000 in support for a number of economic development projects in Labrador.

The DJ Group of companies, which owns and operates the Atsanik Hotel in Nain and the Amaguk Hotel in Hopedale will receive close to $46,000 to make some operational improvements.

Nunacor, which helps with business development opportunities on behalf of the NunatuKavut Community Council has received close to $42,000 for marketing activities that will include the development of a new website and branding.

Big Land Fishing Lodge on the Pinware River is receiving just over $27,000 for marketing initiatives, $4,450 is going to the Labrador Research Forum, and the Labrador West Chamber of Commerce is getting $21,000 to help with the MINEx Symposium scheduled for September.
