Trades NL has announced some $40,000 in grants to grassroots organizations throughout the province.
According to the organization, over the last decade they have donated some $20 million to various organizations throughout the province.
As Executive Director Darren King explains, the grants touch all corners of the province, everywhere from Hopeall, to Marystown, to Port Blandford, and the communities in Labrador. He says it covers things like minor sports, local service districts, and education. He says the organizations included are doing things that help better their communities.
