The President and CEO of Bell Canada is in St. John’s for a series of business meetings now that public health restrictions have been lifted.
Mirko Bibic says Bell Canada is in the midst of a “massive investment program.”
He says BCE is investing more than it ever has in its history, with $5 billion this year alone. The goal, says Bibic, is to build more fibre internet to more communities “as fast as possible.”
Twenty more communities in Atlantic Canada will have access to 5G this summer including CBS, and Lab City and it is already available in St. John’s.
