RNC say two recent fires in the capital city are believed to be suspicious.
The first fire occurred at a business on Old Pennywell Road around 9:15 last night. Three commercial trucks belonging to a lawn care company were on fire when firefighters arrived.
Around 11:00 p.m. the St. John’s Regional Fire Department was called to Cabot Ford Lincoln on Kenmount Road where five pickup trucks were destroyed by fire.
There were no injuries.
Investigators are looking for any possible witnesses or video footage in each area last night. Police say at this stage they cannot confirm a link between the two events.
