Three friends are sharing $1 million dollars won in the February 15, Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball draw.
Rosalind Skinner, Kimberly Chaulk and Kelli Bursey of Mount Pearl met when their children started playing hockey together and became good friends. They started calling themselves the Lotto Buddies when they started buying lotto tickets together while on a summer camping trip.
Little did they know they’d be living up to the moniker.
All three women say their win will allow them to have an enjoyable and worry-free retirement when the time comes.
In the meantime, they’ll be paying off a few bills, finishing some home renos and will be doing a little travelling.
The ticket was purchased at the Marie’s Mini Mart in Mount Pearl.
