A 41-year-old man has been charged with three counts of assaulting a police officer following a disturbance inside a home in Sheshatshiu on Tuesday.
Police responded to calls about an assault on Edwards Drive around 11:00 that evening.
Police say the accused resisted their attempts to take him into custody and assaulted a number of officers.
The accused has been released on conditions to appear in court in July on three counts of assaulting a police officer and two counts of failing to comply with the conditions of a probation order.
