Some of the country’s top apprentices were in Paradise this weekend for the National Apprenticeship Competition.
Prizes were given out to participants from various sectors who competed in skill competitions such as carpentry, scaffolding, drywall, and floor covering.
A number of locals stopped by the Carpenter Millwright College to take in the event, including Premier Andrew Furey who dropped by on Friday afternoon to cheer on local competitors.
