A fan favourite is returning to the Newfoundland Growlers for another season.
Forward Todd Skirving began his career with the Growlers during their inaugural 2018-2019 season, the Kelly Cup year.
He ranks second in games played with the team, and last year came away with 31 goals—second only to Pavel Gogolev’s franchise best of 33.

Skirving says he is excited to continue his playing career in the province, noting that it has become a second home for him.
The Growlers open the 2023-2024 season on October 20 at Mary Browns Centre when they take on the Reading Royals.
