Legendary entertainer Marie Osmond made an unexpected visit to the capital city yesterday.

The television and singing sensation visited The Rooms in St. John’s, marveling at the size of a giant squid in a post on her official social media accounts.

Later, Osmond shared a photo opposite her long-time husband Stephen Craig, wishing him a happy birthday during their St. John’s stop-over.

Osmond is perhaps best known for her variety series Donny & Marie alongside her brother, Donny Osmond, as well as her chart-topping cover of the country pop ballad “Paper Roses.”
