A hybrid artistic experience is hitting the stage in St. John’s later this month.
The Juniper Tree Collaboration, by visual artists Mitzi Pappas Smith and Kelly Jane Bruton, tells the story of the Grimm fairytale “The Juniper Tree”, through a blend of an art installation and theatre piece.
The show explores themes such as the welfare of children, women’s mental health, the importance of art in healing and the need for crisis prevention resources.
The show is set to hit the stage at the Barbara Barrett Theatre in the Arts and Culture Centre on September 28 and 29.
