A former administrative member of the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association is one of two people charged with defrauding the organization.
The RNC received a complaint from the volunteer organization in July of 2022 alleging fraudulent activity.
In July of this year, police laid a dozen charges each against 73-year-old Brian Bishop and 70-year-old Marina Bishop.
Brian Bishop is a former president and vice-president of finance and administration with the association.
He was provincial president in 2021 when he testified at the Ground Search and Rescue inquiry.
The charges against both people include multiple counts of fraud over $5,000, uttering forged documents, and breach of trust.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between April 2015 and February 2022.
A lawyer appeared on their behalf in provincial court on Tuesday.
The case was set over until November 6 to elect a mode of trial and enter pleas to the charges.
