Ceremony to Mark Completion of New Western Memorial Regional Hospital

A ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow to mark the completion of construction of the new Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

The new health care facility has been a long time coming, first announced by Danny Williams back in 2007. The project then stalled for years before construction finally got underway in 2019.

The ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 tomorrow morning.

Premier Andrew Furey and area MHA Gerry Byrne will be among those on hand for the event.
