The capital city’s winter parking ban will be in effect starting tonight.

As of tonight, parking is prohibited on Water, Duckworth and New Gower streets from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Overnight parking is prohibited on streets outside the designated downtown area from 12:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

The ban is in effect regardless of weather and street conditions through to April 5.
