A 40-year-old Channel-Port aux Basques man is facing drug trafficking charges after officers seized crystal meth and cocaine from his home.

On January 26, police executed a search warrant on the home of Richard Ingram, who already has drug and firearms charges before the court. Officers found around 41 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 38 grams of cocaine, alongside other items consistent with drug trafficking.

Ingram now faces two additional charges each of possession of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Ingram was held for court.
