A house fire in Fleur de Lys Monday morning claimed the life of an 82-year-old man.
The Fleur de Lys and Baie Verte fire departments were called to battle the blaze which engulfed the home on the main road in Fleur de Lys.
RCMP say the home was destroyed and the body of the man was found inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Medical Examiner’s office is also involved.
