Fire departments from Lethbridge, Musgravetown, Bunyan’s Cove and Clarenville were on the scene throughout the night fighting fires involving multiple buildings in Bloomfield, Bonavista Bay.
The RCMP issued an advisory shortly after midnight that the highway in the area was blocked due to multiple structure fires. Route 233—Clode Sound Road—is now passable in both directions.
