A man was seriously injured after being struck by an SUV in Burin this week.
The man was struck on Winterland Road around 9:00 Wednesday morning by an SUV that crossed over into the opposite lane, and spun around before leaving the road and coming to rest on a residential property.
The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital in Burin, and then transported to the Health Sciences.
Roads were snow covered at the time.
Police say the driver of the SUV had an expired driver’s licence.
The vehicle was seized as the investigation continues.
