The company behind a proposed Nordic Spa will once again look for St. John’s City Council’s approval on the development’s location.

Iceavik Nordic Spa & Village’s original proposal in Shea Heights was turned down by council last summer due to the number of complaints from area residents.

The company went back to the drawing board and has submitted an application for land use in an undeveloped area of Kenmount Hill on George’s Pond Road.

If approved, the day spa would operate numerous buildings for various spa treatments, swimming pools, a restaurant, and overnight accomodations.

The city is accepting public feedback on the proposal until February 27.
