RCMP are hoping surveillance photos will help catch thieves who stole food stored at a church in Grand Falls-Windsor this week.
Police say two masked people forced their way into the St. Alban’s Anglican Church on Master’s Avenue early Monday morning, making off with a load of frozen food.
They returned the next day with a third person, stealing more food, including frozen turkeys donated for area residents in need.

Police say the suspects also caused about $4,000 in damage to the church.
Meanwhile, RCMP are still looking for thieves who stole four chainsaws during an early-morning break-in at Marsh Motorsports on April 1st.
Two suspects disguised with hoods and masks were captured on surveillance cameras inside the store.
The chainsaws, worth almost $5,000, are described as:
- Husqvarna 455 Rancher chainsaw with an 18-inch bar
- Husqvarna 555 Autotune chainsaw with a 15-inch bar
- Husqvarna 585 chainsaw with an 18-inch bar
- Husqvarna 592 chainsaw with a 20-inch bar
Anyone with information about either crime is asked to contact Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
