A new detour is now in effect as work continues on the CN viaduct leading into the capital city’s downtown from Pitts Memorial.
The offramp which merges onto Water Street from the overpass will be shut down for a couple months starting this morning at 7 a.m.
That means drivers will have to continue to the traffic lights and hang a right onto the short Hamilton Avenue extension that leads down to Water Street.
