Construction begins on another busy thoroughfare in the capital city today.
Rehabilitation work begins on the Allandale Road Bridge which crosses over Rennie’s River.
The City of St. John’s says vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be maintained during construction, however delays and lane reductions can be expected. Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route if possible.
The city will provide updates on traffic interruptions and progress throughout the project, which is expected to be completed by September.
