The health critic for the federal New Democrats will be in the capital city this weekend to discuss pharmacare.
Peter Julian, MP for Westminster-Burnaby, has been making the rounds across Canada, seeking public input and answering questions about the bill.
Earlier this year, the Liberals put the wheels in motion toward phase one of federal pharmacare, which would include coverage for contraceptives and diabetes medication.
The President of the NDP, Mary Shortall, says Julian’s visit to the province is a great opportunity for the public to pose any questions they may have.
The public forum will take place at the Legion in Pleasantville on Saturday at 1 p.m.
