Officials from the East Coast Music Awards are in town as the organization prepares to hold its annual awards in St. John’s next year.
The ECMAs were last held in this province in 2015. In 2020 they were forced online due to the COVID pandemic.
CEO Blanche Israël says officials have a “whirlwind” schedule while in the province meeting with partners, potential sponsors, and members.
She says it is important to meet with members to hear about what they would like to see. They are also conducting site visits to make sure they get everything right.
