There’s some turbulence within the ranks of the Newfoundland Rogues ahead of their season opener at Mary Brown’s Centre next month.
The team has revealed via social media that coach Jerry Williams, who has been with the team since the start, has “taken his talents elsewhere” despite still being under contract to the Rogues.
They say they have taken the situation to the league for a full review.
There’s no word as to who will be leading the Rogues into their upcoming season, but Rogues President Tony Kenny has called a news conference for this morning at 11:30.
The Rogues open the season November 16 at Mary Browns Centre.
