This just might be an all-timer on the Outer Ring Road in terms of speed.
The RNC clocked a young man zipping past everything in sight at 201 km/h at about 8:00 last night, well after dark.
Officers pulled the 26-year-old over and charged him with dangerous driving. His licence has been suspended and the vehicle impounded.
At 8 pm, RNC Traffic Services observed a vehicle traveling 201 km/h on the TCH in St John's. The vehicle was successfully stopped, resulting in a 26 yr old male being arrested and charged with Dangerous Driving.
