A 58-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court on a charge of impaired driving after an unusual crash in Bay Roberts Wednesday night.
Police were called after a collision on Snow’s Lane around 10:00 p.m.
The vehicle in question stopped in the middle of the road, and backed up into a vehicle following behind before driving off.
The driver was located at a home nearby and arrested. Police say he blew nearly two and a half times the legal limit.
