The battle of the Brads at the KIOTI Grand Slam of Curling has gone to Jacobs.
The Gushue rink had a 2-1 lead early on but it didn’t last as the Brad Jacobs rink, including Brett Gallant, won the quarter-final Saturday night. Gallant curled with Gushue in 2017 when they won the Brier in St. John’s and the ensuing world championship.
The NL rink won their first two matches this week, but then struggled in losses to their next three opponents..
The women’s final goes at lunchtime today and the men’s at suppertime.
