A single vehicle rollover near Baie de L’Eau on the Burin Peninsula on the weekend claimed the life of the truck’s driver and lone occupant.
The truck overturned in a body of water along the Burin Peninsula Highway. Police were notified shortly after 1:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The truck was pulled from the water and the body of the 56-year-old driver was recovered.
Police say road conditions were slippery at the time.
