The provincial government has provided final approval for 11 projects under the Rental Housing Development Loan Program.

The projects, part of the third phase of the program’s rollout, have gone through the application process and financing agreements have already been signed.

The bulk of the projects are in St. John’s, with 10 new rental units in C.B.S., another 10 in St. Anthony, four in Gander, 16 in Channel-Port aux Basques and four in the town of Reidville.

Targeted completion dates range from next year up to 2027-28.

NL Housing Minister John Abbott was scheduled to provide more details of the program at Confederation Building this morning.
