A 59-year-old man has been arrested after threatening to hurt a woman and her dog with a knife yesterday evening.
Police were called to a home on LeMarchant Road in St. John’s at about 9:30 p.m..
After searching the area, RNC found the man, and charged him with assault with a weapon, uttering threats, uttering threats to harm an animal and breach of a release order.
He was held for court.
