Offshore lands off southern Labrador and eastern Newfoundland are up for bids.

The island region consists of 19 parcels covering a total of 4.6-milion hectares while the Labrador region takes in 17 parcels covering almost 4-million hectares.

Any companies interested in posting a bid has until November 5 to do so.

There were no takers last year.
