A woman from Whitbourne says she was peeling her Sunday potatoes when she found out she may have won $1-million.

Tracy Winsor’s husband came across an article stating that someone who bought their ticket online had won the $1-million gold-ball jackpot.

After logging in online, she said when she checked the ticket she cried.

Just two days before she bought the ticket, the engine in their truck died. Winsor plans on using the money to buy a new vehicle.

Winsor has six kids and some grandchildren, and says she plans to use the rest of the money to plan for retirement.
