A voice familiar to many in the Stephenville area has been silenced.
Larry Bennett who hosted the morning show on CFSX in Stephenville for decades passed away earlier this week at the age of 71.
Bennett grew up in St. George’s and long desired a career in radio. He joined the broadcast team at CFSX and hosted the morning show there for 42 years.
A celebration of his life will be held in the summer.
