A MUN business professor who has students studying at the ill-fated Harlow Campus is describing it as an experience like no other.
The future of the U.K. campus had been in question for months when the university confirmed that it will close at the end of August earlier this week.
Tom Cooper says “sadness” is the best why to describe how he is feeling about the campus closure.
President Janet Morrison recently suggested that the savings they get from Harlow will be re-invested into other international opportunities for students.
While Cooper says that can be beneficial, it usually only affects one or two students.
He says Harlow created a “cohort effect” where students were going over with 10 or 20 others and all experiencing the same things. He says that experience has been “diminished.”
