Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Prince, has reportedly been arrested by UK authorities on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
Thames Valley Police say the investigation began after reports of the former royal’s alleged links to Jeffrey Epstein. In a statement, the department said the arrest is meant to “protect the integrity and objectivity” of the investigation. They added the case has drawn strong public interest and promised updates when appropriate.
Police are also carrying out searches at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk.
