It appears as though Memorial University’s campus radio station CHMR may soon be no more.

Memorial University’s Students Union held a meeting last night to discuss the possibility of cutting funding to CHMR due to the union’s financial woes.

The CHMR news department took to social media following the meeting to say that the station will be going off the air in the coming months.

We’re expecting to hear more details about last night’s meeting during a news conference with MUNSU scheduled for later this morning.
