Parks NL opens registration for the summer camping season this coming Wednesday.

The province says nine parks will be open for the Victoria Day weekend, with Sandbanks and Sir Richard Squires Memorial opening earlier this year.

Blow Me Down provincial park will be extending its season for one week.

The province says seasonal camping fees have been adjusted to reflect the extended season, and any seasonal campsites that are not booked will be made available for short-stay reservations on the Monday before each park’s opening date.

The reservation system goes live at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22.
