The Opposition member for Waterford Valley rose on a Point of Order in the House of Assembly today, seeking an apology from the Government House Leader for referring to the Opposition as a “bunch of fools.”

Lloyd Parrott says he stands by his statement.

“So I ask the minister to apologize and retract that statement” said Jamie Korab.

“Webster’s Dictionary defines the word ‘fools’ as ‘people who lack good sense, judgement or wisdom, often behaving in a silly or unwise manner.’ I stand by my words” Parrott responded.

Speaker Paul Lane will rule on the Point of Order once he goes over Hansard and video from the House.
