The Canadian Armed Forces will be involved in training exercises at 5 Wing Goose Bay over the next two weeks as part of READY RENAISSANCE 2026.

Some 66 personnel from the 1st Canadian Division Headquarters, the Canadian Armed Forces and Global Affairs Canada will be involved in the training exercises.

Activity will take place in and around the base as well as North West River, Muskrat Falls, and Cartwright.

The public may see Armed Forces members interacting with volunteer role players from those communities.

No participants will be carrying weapons during the exercise.

A simulated medical evacuation will also play out mid-morning on Wednesday, May 20th near North West River.
