RCMP in Natuashish stopped the same vehicle, but two different drivers, twice within a 15-hour period over the weekend for impaired driving.

After being alerted to a possible impaired driver Saturday afternoon, police located the vehicle in the area of Benuen Street.

The 24-year-old driver, who was located at the scene, was arrested.

She was released to appear in court in July for impaired driving.

Meanwhile, around 3:30 the next morning, police responded after the same vehicle ended up crashed in a ditch.

The 22-year-old driver was arrested without incident. She is also facing a charge of driving under the influence.
