The season is on the line tonight for the Montreal Canadiens as they face elimination at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes.
Outside game one, it’s been a lackluster series for the Habs, despite efforts from Alex Newhook and a rookie goaltender.

Fans at the Bell Centre in Montreal sounded pretty frustrated Wednesday night including Rod Hennessey, who owns Riverdale Lanes in Kelligrews.
On Monday, Hennessey was inducted into the CBS Business Hall of Fame. And he went in wearing a very Canadiens-themed sports jacket, that has to be seen to be believed.
Hennessey says the last 20 seconds of the game was a real highlight when the fans gave goaltender Dobes a standing ovation on his birthday. He made 42 saves, and kept the Habs within reach of the Canes. Hennessey says they’re an exciting team to watch and even if they don’t do it tonight, they will have another shot next year.
