He’s not saying why, but St. John’s city councillor Tom Davis says the reason for his physical absence from council meetings will come out today.

The city of St. John’s says council will address a Code of Conduct complaint at today’s regular council meeting at 3:00 p.m.

Mayor Breen will be on hand to answer questions.

Davis has been attending council virtually for an extended period, but the specific reason why he hasn’t been sitting in the council chamber is not known.

Davis would not drop any hints except to tell VOCM Open Line with Brian Callahan today that the reason will come out today.

He told Callahan “you and I, I guess will have a frank conversation about it next week.”

Davis did say that he will stay on as a councillor. VOCM News will have more information as it becomes available.
