Heritage NL, The O’Brien Farm Foundation and the Sheep Producers Association are hosting an event in the capital city today highlighting the province’s agricultural history.

The 3rd annual Sheep to Sock Textile Festival involves all things related to wool production, from sheep and lambs to shearing demonstrations, weaving, rug hooking, knitting and pillow-top making.

Families are invited to cuddle lambs at a station set up at the O’Brien Farm on Oxen Pond Road off Mount Scio.

Proceeds raised through a market and BBQ will go to support of the Single Parents Association of NL.

The event runs today from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
